Over the past decade, the instances of bullying has increased across the United States escalating to harmful acts that can damage both the person being bullied and the bullier. StopBullying.gov defines bullying as "unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time." Anti-Bullying awareness work to help the public understand that verbal, social and physical bullying are not right and need to stop. Kids deserve a safe, healthy environment while at school and at play.
Bully and Anti-Bulling Awareness may be represented by any color. We use the color blue to promote the further education of anti-bullying programs and bullying prevention initiatives with schools and organizations.
